"Getting out of your own restricted circles was the pretension for already the Tulenkantajat -group"
Kalevi Kääriö has shown especial determination in pushing through his plan for researching and interpreting the basis of the Finnish cultural heritage. Kääriö´s ways of perceiving the surroundings and society - the past and present Finland - through his standpoints in his fine arts and his free flowing texts are attentive and insightful. Based on the outcome of his observations Kääriö has designed and built a moving atelier for his works. This vehicle is a piece of art ipso facto. His leading thought has been to present the Finnish Cultural History, Art and Cunning, on his way through Europe and Africa. His aims has been to build up a gallery network along his path, to make it possibile for artists from differént fields of art in diffenrent countries to contact change ideas with each other. Kalevi Kääriö is on the Right Way.

Please try to understand something about what is being done and where we are.
The mausoleum of Lenin was closed on Mondays.
That is when the body maintainance was carried out.
A Soviet citizen did not accept the orthodox doctrines, but according to them:

The attitudes had changed but the tendencies had persisted.
In anthropology this is called the transition rite.
Now is the time for subcultures and structural change in society.
Stoneage,bronzeage,ironage...
Materials change...
Agricultural age, Industrial age and Information age.
The instruments change,but the tendencies persist and
always are we a generation behind.
Subcultures are looking for a new way of expression and a new channel for expression.
Those staying in place oppose everything new with tooth and nail.
That is how it has always been,there is nothing new in it.
The search for Subcultures ongoes in the safe company of the old means. I am teaching the new expression to give birth to itself.
